Specializing in acoustic, classical, jazz, and choral music, the team at Sono Luminus has received numerous GRAMMY nominations on albums they have worked on and there in house producer/engineer have both received several individual nominations.

The studio, housed in a 100 year old former church in the quiet town old Boyce, Virginia is located just over an hour from Washington. The studio is equipped to record in all formats and resolutions, all the way from 44.1kHz CD quality to 352.8kHz DXD and DSD resolutions. The studio has a large tracking room, and offers a wide array of microphone choices as well as having 2 Steinway D concert grand pianos and a small pipe organ on site. The studio team is also available for noise removal, mixing, and mastering.

Looking to do something more than a stereo production, or working on a film project? Sono Luminus can mix in 5.1, 9.1 Auro 3-D, or 11.1 Dolby Atmos. The team is also fully equipped to record your project on location, whether it is a recording session, or a live performance.
